How to Update Article Price and Status
Prerequisites
- Articles must already exist (Learn How to Create Articles)
- Article prices and statuses must already be updated in OfficeGest
Steps to Follow
1. Access the Article Types Page (Articles Management Menu)
To access this page, click Articles Management > Article Types in the side menu.
2. Click the Article Subtypes Tab
Within the Article Types page, click the Article Subtypes tab.
3. Click the Actions Button
Inside the Article Subtypes tab, click the Actions button.
4. Click the Synchronize Article Price and Status Option
After clicking the Actions button, click Synchronize Article Price and Status.
5. Access the Clients Page (Clients Management Menu)
To access this page, click Clients Management > Clients in the side menu.
6. Click the Icon (⋮) for the Desired Client
Within the Clients page, click the actions group icon (⋮) for the client you want.
7. Click the Edit Option
After clicking the actions group icon (⋮), click Edit.
8. Click the Articles Management Tab
Within the Client page, click the Articles Management tab.
9. Click the Article Types Subtab
Inside the Articles Management tab, click the Article Types subtab.
10. Click the Clients or Renting Sub-subtab
Inside the Article Types subtab, click either Clients or Renting.
11. Select the Articles to Update
Within the selected sub-subtab, select the articles you want to update.
12. Click the Group Actions Button
After selecting the articles to update, click the Group Actions button.
13. Click the Synchronize Price Option
After clicking Group Actions, click Synchronize Price.
14. Re-add the Contracted Values
After updating the article prices, re-add the removed contracted values so they reflect the updated values from OfficeGest (Learn How to Add Contracted Values).
